Basic Burger Patties

This is a great idea to make when ground beef is on sale and freeze for later use.

1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. crushed club soda crackers or fine dry bread crumbs
Optional:
     1/4 c. diced onion
     garlic powder
     salt & pepper

In a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients. Separate into 3-4 parts and pat out into a patty or use a hamburger mold (see link below). Either grill or freeze for later.
