Dr. Pepper Ribs

Here's another rib recipe from my Traeger cookbook that's great on a smoker, but can be done on a grill as well.
4 lbs. ribs
3 c. Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb
3 c. ketchup
1 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. chili powder
4 tbsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon

Place ribs in a glass baking pan and pour 2 cups of pop over. Cover and marinate overnight. In a blender, combine the rest of the pop with the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Put in container and set aside.

Remove ribs from the fridge. Start grill on medium setting. Place pan of ribs on grill and cook for 2 hours. Switch setting to lowest (or smoke if you have a smoker) and brush ribs with mixture every 1/2 hour for 3 hours or until meat temperature reaches 165 degrees.
