Printing Coupons Cheaper

How can these "junk" papers help you save money?
When you print coupons, it doesn't need to be anything fancy for the store to accept it. As long as it's a legitimate coupon and is legible with the bar code being readable as well, the store will take it. Here's 4 ways to save some money when you're printing off those coupons.

1. Print on scratch/ recycled paper. Do you get junk mail? Okay, maybe that was a dumb question, but it can actually save you some money. Just today, I got three different pieces of mail that had "junk" in them. Normally, people throw them away, but the back side is blank. Why not stick it in your printer, and print coupons on the back side?

2. Print in black & white. The store doesn't care if the picture of the product isn't in color. Check the default settings on your printer and choose the black & white option. And while you're in there...

3. Print in "draft" mode. Most printers have a "quality level" option available. If you choose the "draft" option, it will use less ink when you print, so you'll have to buy ink less often. But when it does run out...

4. Buy refilled/ recycled ink cartridges. Many stores sell them and they are even available online through many different websites. You don't need to pay full price for ink... ever.

Do you have other ways to save on your printing costs? Let us in on your secrets!
